Patricia Lanier and Alan Pride, as principals of the firm, have been providing commissioning, maintenance, and reliability engineering consulting services for over 25 years. We are dedicated to meeting and exceeding our clients' needs.

Ms. Lanier began her career in the consulting engineering field 25 years ago. She began as an HVAC design engineer and over the years migrated into the maintenance field. Her career has focused on building design and commissioning. She has served as an independent commissioning authority for 14 embassies world-wide, providing commissioning and maintenance consulting. Ms. Lanier led the effort to implement Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and commissioning for the University of Chicago. She holds a B.S. degree from Southern Polytechnic State University, is a Certified Commissioning Authority, and is President/CEO of PMA Consulting, Inc.

Mr. Pride began his career in the Navy as a graduate of the Naval Nuclear Program. After leaving the Navy he worked for several small consulting firms providing maintenance and reliability consulting. He started his own company in 1996 providing reliability and maintenance consulting to firms all over the world. He has worked with NASA since 1991 helping implement RCM Programs at various NASA centers. He has also worked with discrete and continuous manufacturing facilities, pharmaceuticals, and petrochemical plants on four continents, as well as the Unite States Department of State Overseas Building Operations, since 1998. In all, he has worked with over 100 plants worldwide on reliability issues and change management. Mr. Pride joined PMA Consulting in 2002. Mr. Pride holds a B.S. in Physics from the Citadel and is a Certified Commissioning Authority and a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional.
